Camping is available within 200 meters of any main road at the nearby National Parks, and is an ideal option for those who just want to avoid the hustle and bustle.
The great thing about Bright Victoria is that there is no such thing as enough to do. There is so much to do that it is sometimes hard to pick! The Ovens River provides a haven for any aquatic adventure, from swimming to kayaking. In the summer months, the Ovens river receives less water due to the damming, which creates a cool swimming environment for all, monitored by lifeguards to make sure that even the little ones are safe. Hiking trails are aplenty for those who like to see the world from above the tree line, and stand on top of the alpine summits of Victorias highest peaks. There truly is no limit to how fun Bright is!.
