All thanks to the speed and ease of modern day transportation, traveling has become a frequent part of our lives. Some people travel for business purposes, some travel for leisure and some for explorations. No matter how far or how often one travels, packing the stuff is always a hard task. Many people have different preferences, some like traveling without much whereas few want to travel along with all their wordly possessions. whatever the case, one thing everyone wants is to travel easily. Luggage is one thing that can really turn your tour into a real pain or pleasure. Today, luggage designers have introduced many innovative ideas to make sure that your luggage is not a pain. Carts such as folding cart andwheeled cart, make it easier to travel even with a luggage slightly heavier than you can carry.
Even with the best of carriers and baggage, you are always open to some kind of luggage disorder unless you learn how to pack smartly. Here are different ideas that can help you travel lightly.
The very first rule applies equally for frequent and occasional travelers. The limitations and restrictions of flights are always changing. So, make sure you are aware if there is any new restriction regarding things you can and cannot carry along. Watching your stuff being thrown into the airport trash is the most painful experience of all. In recent years, few of the seemingly most harmless things were banned to be carried along. These things include toiletries and general use batteries etc
Secondly, don’t think you can travel with everything you can stuff in your suit cases. If you are on a business trip, you won’t require many clothes as you probably won’t stay for much time. If you are on a holiday, try saving some space for all the stuff you will buy during the stay.
The best idea is to pack clothes that you can easily mix and match. For example, you can wear one pair of jeans with two different tee shirts at two different occasions, so why bother carrying two jeans?
The maximum number of pairs of footwear you can carry is two, one casual and one formal. To be a little generous, the one you have on won’t be counted as a luggage.
Despite sorting out the minimum amount of clothes to pack, try to roughly weight the clothes. Now pick out the ones that are heaviest, and keep them as the ones you’ll wear to the airport.
Finally, it is the packing technique. Don’t just stuff things up in your poor suitcase, it will make them all creased and the space would not be appropriately consumed. Place the shoes first of the luggage then roll the socks, undergarments and other small stuff inside the shoes. Fold the garments and then roll them; rolled clothes require less space than folded ones.
One last advice: There are many things such as toiletries and stuff that the flight, hotel and even the airport will provide you. It is best to leave such things at home. For other things, go for small travel sized products.
