Rome is the endless city and the true city of empire with its inheritance of columns, triumphal arches, and huge buildings. But this isn’t the whole story of this traditional city : Rome is also a prospering and busy metropolis where Italian central authority and commerce rub shoulders together to the soundtrack of present-day existence. In addition Rome includes the miniscule city state of Vatican City, the domain of the Roman Catholic Church and the home of the Pope.
All roads, naturally, lead to Rome and not just for the traditional Coliseum, Trajan’s Column, Saint Paul’s Basilica, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps-visitors also discover the delights of the lesser-known streets with their lively chatter and bustle. Romans enjoy street life to a degree unknown in several cooler climates, and while the restaurants and bars are renowned for their atmosphere on no account miss the opportunity to savor a wide array of exquisite food and drink. The city is potentially even more beautiful at night when lights pick out the details and silhouettes of the buildings and monuments.
From Coliseum to Castell San Angelo, from the traditional Roman Forum to St. Peter’s Square at the heart of the Vatican ; from the Piazza Navona to the cobbles of the Appian Way-Rome is abeautiful and significant city which will delight who will hire appartamenti a roma.

Serious music lovers have long considered Vienna to be just this side of shangri la : one encounters music everywhere, from the sounds of akid practicing a Mozart piano sonata through an open window to street musicians playing classical as well as folkmusic. No other city has been home to so many composers of international renown : some, such as Schubert, Strauss, Schoenberg and Berg were born there, others, for example Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Brahms and Mahler selected to live there.
Culinary culture is an essential part of the way of living which has distinguished Vienna for centuries. Viennese cuisine is perhaps the only cuisine in the world thatis named for acity and not a country. Vienna has been influenced by many states thru the past ten centuries, something that can explain much of its attraction - and not only in the realm of cooking. The word Heurigen has long been part of the vocabulary of tourism in Vienna - no sightseeing visit to the city on the Danube would be perfect without a visit to a Viennese Heurigen. Heurigens have now become a synonym for some of whatis best in Vienna : hospitality, gemtlichkeit, joie de vivre mingled with a little melancholy, good strong food and refreshing dry wine. Actually, as a uniquely Viennese establishment, a strategy of life, Heurigens are 2nd only to coffeehouses.
